 My Taj Mahal Tour Experience - Taj Mahal in Agra, India

I had travelled to Agra to see Taj Mahal with my school friends back in 14 September 2019. Yes it has been a while since I travelled there but since I started this new blog, this was the very first experience I got on my mind to talk about.

There were 5 people in total including me. I have known these friends since I was in school days. We planned to go there a week before and after getting permission from our parents we confirmed that we will go. 

It was a one day trip, our group met at a particular place at early morning and we decided that we will go in a friends car. And so it began. It was so fun enjoying with friends, seeing the scenery listening to music. We departed from Gurgaon, Haryana which is about 202km far from Taj Mahal. 

We stopped at places, took photos because it is fun making memories and ate breakfast at a restaurant. We were really hungry because we didn't have breakfast when we left from home in early morning.

Let's fast forward to when we reached Agra. We decided that we will go to the place where Taj Mahal is situated with a horse cart. It was a fun experience because this is the first time I had a ride in there. There were plenty of food stalls around the road and a lot of things to buy.

Finally at around 11am we reached to the place where Taj Mahal is but we still had to walk from inside. There was a lot of crowd there. We stopped at places to take photos.

After walking for a while we finally saw Taj Mahal from a distance. It was so huge and beautiful. The weather was really cloudy so it gave an aesthetic look to it. I was glad it is not hot. Taj Mahal is really a work of art, it's crazy how they built it centuries ago. It has a lot of history connected to it. I think the best time to visit Taj Mahal is between September-November and February-March. The reason behind this is because it gets too hot or too cold in other months. A moderate weather is the best for a great experience. 

As we walked closer to Taj Mahal taking a lot of photos and looking at the garden and scenery, I felt more good and good. 

We saw every corner of Taj Mahal and its surroundings, the architecture was so beautiful to watch. You can take a look through these photos I clicked on the tour. We also went inside Taj Mahal but photography wasn't allowed. It was really beautiful. 

After we were done, we visited some other places too including Agra Fort. You can see how beautiful it looks from the pictures. We went to various places inside it taking pictures. 

When we were done we headed to home as it was getting late. We ate at a Dhaba on the way and reached home at night. 

This was second time I visited Taj Mahal, first time I did was when I was very young, I think around 7 years old with Parents. With friends, it was indeed a different experience.

In conclusion, if you are planning to visit Taj Mahal and the places around in Agra. Go for it, it is an amazing experience you should not miss. It is a great experience with family, with friends and even if you go for a solo tour.
