1. Eiffel Tower
Easily the most popular tourist attraction in Paris that is well known all over the world. There is no Paris tour without seeing the beauty of Eiffel Tower. It is also one of the most visited monuments in the entire world with like 7 million visitors per year.
Eiffel tower is about 324 meters high (or 1063 ft) and is the tallest structure in Paris. Eiffel tower was constructed in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel and it was the entrance to a world fair. It was originally supposed to be demolished later.
This tower has three floors. There are elevators available on every level but if you want to take stairs from floor one to floor two, you can even take the stairs which are of 674 steps. On the third floor which is at about 275 meters you can see the office of Gustave Eiffel.
Eiffel tower is a must visit place in Paris, the surroundings are absolutely beautiful and you can take great pictures here.
2. Over 100 Museums Including Louvre Museum
The Louvre is one of the world's most visited art museum and is also the most popular. The historic buildings in Louvre used to be former royal palaces. The area is covered with 210,000 square meters and 60,600 is for the art exhibitions.
You will find collections from the world's most famous artists here including Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa. Yes the original Mona Lisa is here. Here's a fun fact: There are over 380,000 art pieces in Louvre and it is impossible to see it all in one day.

3. Champs Elysées / Arc of Triumph
It is a 1.2 mile long street which is located in the center of Paris and it is world's most recognizable avenue. This avenue has a number of luxury shops, cafes, restaurants and theaters.
Arc of Triumph is also located here which is a huge triumphal arch built in the 19th century. It is world's largest monument of its kind. There are beauty sculptures built on its pillars. This arch was commissioned by Napoleon and is dedicated to the armies of the Revolution and the Empire.
4. Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris
Notre-Dame is a world class monument located in the heart of Paris. Notre-Dame was founded in the year 1163 by King Louis IX and Bishop Maurice de Sully,
The cathedral was created in Gothic style with some later additions that shows transition to High Gothic style.
The meaning of Note-Dame de Paris is "Our Lady of Paris". It is built on the island in the heart of Paris named Île-de-la-Cité. The cathedral has amazing architecture elements of the medieval times that is amazing to see.
Recently in April 2019 the cathedral caught fire and was damaged. Currently work is going on to restore the cathedral to its original state.
5. Montmartre & Sacre-Coeur
Montmartre is located at the highest point of Paris that shows an amazing view of Paris. It used to be a very popular spot for world famous artists. Artists like Picasso and Van Gogh found inspiration here.
The streets and atmosphere here is absolutely breathtaking with amazing shops, cafes and restaurants. You will have a great time here. You will come across a lot of artists even today doing their work in Montmartre as they find inspiration here.
Sacre-Coeur is located in Montmartre and it is also known as The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris.
It is a Roman catholic church that looks like a cake, and it is also nicknamed as that. It is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Sacre-Coeur is indeed an architectural marvel.
6. Disneyland Paris
Yes there is a Disneyland in Paris which you can visit with your family and it is one of the best experiences you will have. You will get lost in the world of Disney here. Disneyland Paris has Disneyland Castle and Walt Disney Studios which you can visit.
7. Seine River
You can go cruise on Seine River and enjoy amazing beauty of Paris. It is even more beautiful during night as the monuments are lit at this time giving it more beauty. You can see Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and many more on this cruise. You can also have lunch and dinner on the cruise.
8. A Lot Of Beautiful Parks/Gardens
One of the best things about Paris are the beautiful parks that are situated here with amazing scenery and atmosphere that will give you peace and joy. 10. Pere Lachaise Cemetery
It is world's most visited cemetery and it is the resting place for many well known people including Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde, Balzac and Edith Piaf. This cemetery also has many sculptures that you can enjoy and they are truly a work of art. This cemetery was established in 1804 and is also the world's largest cemetery. Pere Lachaise Cemetery is covered in over 100 acres and is pretty big.
