1. The Matterhorn Peak 

It is Switzerland's one of the highest mountain peak which rises up to 4,478 meters. People usually come in Winter here to enjoy skiing. There are more than 300 kilometers of slopes here which is amazing for skiers. People also do biking, hiking, climbing in the summers. It is also very beautiful to look at and you will feel like you have come to another world at its peak. 

There is also a village here on the peak named Zermatt, it is an international resort that has amazing world class hotels and restaurants, peaceful ambience, and horse carriage rides. Motor vehicles are banned here to preserve air quality so the air is very fresh and clean to breathe here.

2. Interlaken

3. Lucerne 

Lucerne is situated at the northern end of Lake Lucerne where the River Reuss flows. This town has many historical buildings that are well preserved. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions of Switzerland. 

Lucerne is very popular for its world class festivals of classical music that happens in the summer season. Lucerne festival attracts classical music stars from all over the world and the orchestras that happen here are something you should really experience. Especially if you are into classical music. 

If you love mountains then you will love to see Mount Rigi, Mount Pilatus, Mount Jungfraujoch and Mount Titlis. 

If you are in Lucerne then you can go to Mount Pilatus using cable car or railroad. 

There is Kapellbrücke (or Chapel Bridge) in Lucerne which is a very popular tourist place and also most photographed. It is a wooden bridge that runs across Reuss. The bridge was built in the year 1333.

Lake Geneva is the largest lake in Central Europe and also the lake with largest amount of water. Lake Geneva is shared between Switzerland and France. It is shaped like a crescent moon. 

Lake Geneva covers a total area of 7975 square kilometers. There are a lot of events that happen here in Lake Geneva like swimming an yacht racing. People also love to have scuba diving here, sailing, windsurfing, and boating.
